Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including assessment of changes in mental and physical well-being; communicate observations to the Supervisor and physician as needed.
- Receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders; administer medications and treatments and document via MARs/TARs and electronic documentation.
- Manage unit supply and pharmaceuticals; supervise LNA staff within scope of practice; assign tasks and provide assistance to ensure quality resident care.
- Participate in resident rounds with the physician on assigned units; facilitate communication during 60-day reviews and coordinate care plans.
- Administer oxygen therapy and enteral feedings per policy; perform wound care and manage wound vacs as applicable.
- Complete 24-hour shift report, coordinate with therapy services, monitor infection control practices, and ensure unit is clean and hazard-free.
- Admit, discharge, and transfer residents with appropriate documentation; communicate with families regarding orders and consent as needed.
- Support unit management by reporting issues to the Nurse Manager/Nursing Supervisor and assisting with staff education and orientation as needed.

Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Hampshire
- BLS (AHA) certification
- IV therapy certification or willingness to obtain during onboarding
- 3+ years of current nursing experience (within the last 6 months)
- Must be willing to float to units where experienced
- Covid-19 vaccination required (declinations/exemptions not accepted)
- Not a local resident within 50 miles of the facility (perm address must be outside this radius)
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Ability to work in a rural/small facility environment
