Travel Physical Therapist Job
Physical Therapist in a hospital-based outpatient setting located in Glenwood Springs, CO. Start date: May 12, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,218–$2,259 per week. Guaranteed hours: 38 per week. Shift: 4x10 rotating. In this assignment you will evaluate patients and develop/implement a PT plan of care for a variety of diagnoses to improve strength, range of motion, balance, safety and function, with patient and caregiver education on home exercise programs.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients to determine PT needs and establish an evidence-based treatment plan
- Implement and adjust therapeutic interventions to improve strength, ROM, balance, safety and functional mobility
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and activity modification
- Document patient progress and outcomes; communicate with the care team to optimize care
- Adhere to established clinical guidelines, safety standards and facility policies
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration to support comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy
- Current Colorado PT license (DORA) or compact license for Colorado
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Minimum two years of PT experience; 3–5 years preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital/outpatient rehabilitation setting
- Travel eligibility with a 75-mile radius distance requirement from the assignment facility
