Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse - ICU in Geneva, New York. Start date: May 25, 2026 for a 14-week travel assignment. Weekly pay: $1,974-$2,049 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 3x12 rotating (7a-7p or 7p-7a) with variable shifts scheduled as needed by the client, every other weekend and holidays. Setting: short-term, acute care environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct ICU care for adult and geriatric patients, monitoring hemodynamics, ventilator support, and complex therapies per unit protocols
- Administer medications, nursing interventions, and respond to changes in patient condition; initiate life-saving interventions as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assess patients, document findings in the electronic medical record, monitor equipment, and ensure safety and infection control standards
- Educate patients and families, coordinate with case management for discharge planning, and participate in quality and safety initiatives
Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation
- NIHSS certification required
- Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire
- CPI certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to care for adults and older adults on an ICU unit; strong communication, confidentiality, teamwork, and ability to manage multiple priorities
