Responsibilities
- Administer medications and provide routine nursing care per the plan of care
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and document findings in the medical record
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility as needed
- Perform basic wound care, dressing changes, and routine treatments under supervision
- Report changes in condition to supervising licensed staff and participate in care plan updates
- Maintain clinical cleanliness, adhere to infection control practices, and ensure patient safety during care
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in West Virginia (or eligibility)
- Completion of an approved LPN program
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in every-other-weekend schedule
- Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment and to work in a LTC setting
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
