Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and ongoing re-evaluations of function, ROM, strength, and activities of daily living (ADLs); develop and implement an OT plan of care under physician referral
- Provide direct OT interventions to restore or maintain function; design purposeful activities, gait training, upper-extremity therapy, and adaptive equipment as prescribed
- Collaborate with nursing and inter-disciplinary team to coordinate screenings, treatment plans, and discharge planning; maintain accurate treatment documentation
- Educate patients and families on OT recommendations; facilitate transitions of care and coordinate follow-up with community resources
- May deliver OT services for a specific unit or center; participate in staff education, policy development, and quality improvement activities; contribute to safety and infection control standards

Requirements
- Hawaii professional licensure requirement noted (Hawaii PT license indicated as needed; obtain ASAP per job notes)
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Ability to work in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings; willingness to work within acute care environment
- Basic life support (BLS) certification or compliance with facility requirements; participate in mandatory trainings
- Experience in acute care OT preferred but not mandatory; strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
- Availability to work Saturdays as required and flexibility around hours
