Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to acquire cross-sectional images of bone, organ, and tissue structures used for diagnosis.
- Perform a variety of imaging procedures beyond CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, as assigned.
- Ensure proper patient positioning, shielding, and adherence to radiation safety protocols; optimize imaging parameters for diagnostic quality.
- Prepare patients for imaging, verify consent and orders, and document procedures accurately in imaging records.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and referring clinicians to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.
- Maintain equipment care, cleanliness, and basic troubleshooting; comply with infection control and safety standards.
Requirements
- Ability to operate CT equipment and perform CT imaging per department protocols.
- Proficiency in general radiography and fluoroscopy imaging as assigned.
- Flexibility to work the night shift on a 3x12-hour schedule.
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment in Sonora, CA for a 13-week duration.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States and available for assignment in the listed location.
