Setting: Travel assignment in Home Healthcare - Hospice
This travel RN leadership role supports unit-based clinical leadership within a home healthcare - hospice setting. You will collaborate with the Nurse Manager, Director, Physicians, and staff to ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care with strong safety and satisfaction outcomes. The position emphasizes leadership, staff supervision, and coordinated care planning for patients and families.

Responsibilities
- Provide unit-based leadership and coordinate care with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff.
- Supervise and direct nursing and ancillary personnel; assign tasks and monitor performance.
- Initiate and coordinate conferences with health team members, patients, and families to develop or revise individualized care plans.
- Direct and monitor patient care activities to ensure safety, quality, and timely interventions; participate in patient care as needed.
- Foster patient- and family-centered care with attention to cultural diversity and language needs.
- Conduct rounds to assess patient needs, gather feedback on nursing services, and drive continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
- Active RN license in California (state of assignment)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; Master’s Degree preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) required
- Minimum two years of recent nursing experience; supervisory experience required; five years preferred
- Ability to work in a home healthcare - hospice setting; strong leadership and collaboration skills
