Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields for surgical procedures, ensuring proper setup before and during cases
- Pass instruments, maintain instrument counts, and assist the surgical team during operations
- Assist with draping, gowning, patient positioning, and suctioning as needed
- Maintain sterile technique and assist with specimen handling and drop-offs
- Support Level 1 trauma cases in the operating room as assigned
- Help with room turnover and equipment management between cases to maintain workflow
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Level 1 trauma surgical technology experience, documented in work history
- Proficient in sterile technique, instrument handling, and counts
- Able to work 4x10-hour shifts with on-call, holidays, and weekends
- Willingness to work in a hospital surgical setting in Atlanta, GA
- Licensure/certification requirements to be verified at interview
