Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology and vascular hybrid imaging procedures in accordance with department procedures.
- Set up imaging equipment, prepare the procedure room, and position patients for IR and vascular hybrid procedures.
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images with appropriate technical efficacy and independent judgment.
- Uphold patient safety, radiation safety, and age-appropriate care standards during all procedures.
- work under the direction of the clinical coordinator and/or department manager, while maintaining the ability to independently perform job functions.
Requirements
- Active radiologic technologist license/registration in the United States.
- Ability to independently perform a wide range of IR-related imaging procedures following department guidelines.
- Proficiency in setting up imaging equipment and positioning patients for IR procedures.
- Experience or ability to work in interventional radiology and vascular hybrid procedural settings.
- Commitment to patient safety and delivering quality imaging care in a hospital setting.
