Registered Nurse – Emergency Department travel assignment in Saint Louis, MO. Start date 05/04/2026 for multiple weeks. Expect 36 hours per week on a 3x12-hour day shift. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult and pediatric ER patients, including triage, initial assessment, stabilization, airway management, IV access, medication administration, and continuous monitoring using EPIC.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Interpretation Services) to coordinate care and disposition decisions.
- Recognize and respond to STEMI and stroke protocols; interpret dysrhythmias; manage vasopressors and other critical therapies as trained.
- Support procedural needs (airway management, chest tube and central line assistance, sedation) and trauma care within established scope.
- Document all care and interventions in EPIC; ensure accurate charting and effective handoffs to inpatient units or discharge.
- Provide pediatric emergency care and address behavioral health holds as needed; maintain patient and family safety.

Requirements
- Licensure: Active RN license to practice in Missouri; pending license accepted per state licensure rules.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of ER RN experience; travel experience required; not accepting first-time travelers.
- Certifications: ACLS, BCLS/BLS, NIHSS, PALS (required); CPI and TNCC preferred.
- EPIC: EPIC charting experience required.
- Clinical scope: Comfortable delivering care in a high-volume ED with adults and pediatrics (neonates through geriatrics); able to float within ER scope as needed.
