Travel Physical Therapist Job
PT – Physical Therapist in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. Travel assignment in a long-term care (LTC) setting starts 03/30/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,368 to $2,563 with guaranteed 35 hours per week. Shift is 08:00–16:30, five days per week. Setting: LTC - Nursing Home. This temporary position is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC and is open to qualified travel PTs seeking a stable assignment in the region.

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial PT evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for residents
- Implement therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
- Reassess residents regularly, document progress, adjust plans, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team
- Educate residents and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, and fall prevention
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in charting systems and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work in a geriatric/long-term care setting
- Strong communication and documentation skills; comfortable collaborating with an interdisciplinary team
