Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to adult behavioral health patients in an inpatient unit, including assessment, monitoring, and ongoing evaluation
- Perform mental status exams, track vital signs, administer prescribed medications, and document responses in the electronic medical record
- Implement individualized care plans, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, and liaise with therapy, social work, and case management to coordinate care
- Utilize de-escalation techniques and safety protocols to manage agitation or crisis situations, maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff
- Document accurately and timely, ensure proper handoffs during shift changes, and support admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Collaborate with the treatment team on discharge planning and patient/family education as appropriate

Requirements
- Active RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact state at time of submission; NURSYS license verification
- Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health / Psychiatric RN experience
- Current BLS and CPI or MOAB certifications
- EMR experience preferred (Cerner); ability to documentation and navigate standard hospital systems
- Willingness to float within the Behavioral Health unit and, as needed, to related units within the region (e.g., Franklin & Laconia), with patient assignments of 6–9 patients
- Must have a valid driver's license with address matching demographics; up-to-date resume reflecting 2+ years in the specialty
- Submission must include 2 recent charge/manager RN references and a skills checklist that matches the specialty
- RTO (time off) request must be included at submission
