Interventional Radiology Tech travel assignment in Utica, NY. Start date: 07/20/2026. 13-week contract with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Four 10-hour days (Mon–Fri) with on-call coverage from 17:00 to 07:00 and a weekend call rotation every fourth weekend. Work in a hospital setting within an interventional radiology environment, using EPIC for documentation, PACS for imaging, and Siemens Artis-Q imaging systems.

Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures under the supervision of the radiology physician, including handling C-arm imaging and patient monitoring.
- Prepare and position patients, maintain sterile technique, manage contrast administration as ordered, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
- Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment (Siemens Artis-Q, PACS workflow) and document procedures in the electronic health record (EPIC) with accurate labeling and coding.
- Collaborate with radiology team members (rad techs, nurses, and physicians) to ensure efficient patient care and adherence to ALARA radiation safety principles.
- Support anticipated floating to OR/ENDO procedures as needed and participate in on-call and weekend rotation per staffing requirements.
Requirements
- Education: Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Licenses: New York state radiologic technology license required
- Certifications: ARRT certification required; DLS as noted in job specifics
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of interventional radiology radiologic technology experience; 2 years preferred
- Eligibility: Ability to work in a hospital travel setting and participate in on-call and weekend rotations
- Patient population: Adults 18+
