Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting, including monitoring vitals, administering medications, and implementing prescribed treatments.
- Assess resident status, document findings, and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and IV therapies per orders, while following safety, infection control, and facility policies.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other care professionals to execute individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly to clinical changes and emergencies; support safety, fall prevention, and comfort measures.
- Assist with activities of daily living and provide education to residents and families as needed.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Colorado (or eligibility)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work evenings (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) and function effectively in a skilled nursing facility environment
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Experience or comfort working in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
