Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Atlanta, GA, United States. Start date 06/01/2026 for an 8-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: Nights on a 2x3 schedule. Setting: Hospital-based emergency care. This is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate patient care to adult and pediatric ED patients, including triage, initial assessment, and ongoing monitoring.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures as ordered by the ED team.
- Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and support staff to develop and execute patient care plans.
- Respond to acute changes in patient condition, support resuscitation efforts, and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record; ensure clear communication across shifts.
- Uphold patient safety, infection control, and quality improvement practices; participate in trauma and critical care workflows as needed.
Requirements
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ED experience
- Ability to work the night shift and adapt to variable ED patient loads
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
