Responsibilities
- Provide procedural support in the Cath Lab and adjacent areas, including prep/recovery and nuclear stress testing
- Monitor hemodynamics during interventional and diagnostic cardiac and peripheral procedures; document in the cardiovascular information system (McKesson)
- Assist with electrophysiology and related device procedures, transesophageal echocardiograms, cardioversions, and stress testing
- Ensure patient safety and sterile technique; communicate effectively with the interprofessional team; manage urgent STEMI calls as needed
- Maintain equipment readiness, accurate case documentation, and adherence to protocols in a fast-paced setting
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts license required at time of submission
- ACLS and BLS certification
- 3–5 years of current interventional cath lab experience
- Procedural sedation experience; hemodynamic monitoring proficiency; McKesson cardiovascular documentation
- Ability to perform STEMI call and operate in a team-centered, fast-paced environment
- Onboarding assessments: pass Dysrhythmia (20 questions) and Medication (20 questions) with 85% threshold on one attempt via Zoom; COVID vaccine + booster and Flu vaccine required; strong preference for candidates residing more than 50 miles away from the site
