Travel Speech Language Pathologist Job
Speech Language Pathologist travel assignment in Hermiston, Oregon, United States. Start date 04/20/2026 for 13 weeks, with 40 guaranteed hours per week. Day shift, five eight-hour days (5x8). Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat pediatric and adult patients with speech, language, cognitive and/or swallowing disorders; develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Administer therapy and document progress, using standard assessments and evidence-based techniques; communicate findings and recommendations via SOAP notes.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes; participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and staff; maintain HIPAA compliance and uphold professional standards in all interactions.
- Maintain current knowledge of the field, participate in relevant in-services or meetings, and follow department policies and procedures for safety and quality improvement.
Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Licenses/ Certifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association; current Oregon state license to practice speech-language pathology; current BLS certification.
- Experience: No prior experience required; preferred: minimum of two years in hospital care settings, with pediatric and/or adult populations; feeding/dysphagia experience is a plus; CFYs could be considered; familiarity with EPIC is a plus.
- Additional: Ability to work in an inpatient/outpatient hospital setting; CRASE training preferred if assignment extends beyond six months.
