Responsibilities
- Apply aseptic technique during equipment preparation, procedure assistance, and reprocessing to maintain sterile and high-level disinfectant integrity.
- Disassemble, inspect, and identify defective parts; perform preventive maintenance on endoscopy supplies and equipment.
- Complete pre-cleaning, cleaning, high-level disinfection, leak testing, and reprocessing of endoscopes and accessories per regulatory standards; document storage and handling per protocol.
- Follow manufacturer and institutional guidelines to select appropriate high-level disinfection methods; calibrate and verify equipment according to protocols.
- Perform ambulatory technician duties as assigned, including obtaining and documenting vital signs and transporting patients as needed.
- Collaborate with the GI lab team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and compliance with infection control and safety standards.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of endoscopy/GI lab experience
- Travel experience required
- High-Level Disinfection (HLD) certification highly encouraged; licensure or additional certifications not required for this assignment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, procedure-oriented GI lab environment
- Must have prior travel assignment experience; willingness to cover M-F days with on-call nights
