Overview
Registered Nurse – ER, travel assignment in Sonora, California. Start date 09/21/2026 for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week. Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts. This travel role is in an acute care ER department that delivers triage, treatment and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinate care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Provide triage, treatment and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care setting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, safe patient care and maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements
- Ability to work nights in a high-acuity ER environment.
- Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and independent judgment in clinical decision-making.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members.
- Commitment to patient safety and adherence to established standards of care and the nursing process.
