Radiology Tech – Mammography
Location: Atlanta, GA, United States
Start date: 11/09/2026
Duration: 8 weeks
Weekly pay: 2,300–2,450 per week
Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
Shift: 8-hour days, 8x5 (830 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), Monday through Friday

Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams with proper patient positioning and exposure parameters
- Acquire high-quality mammography images per department protocol; review images for quality and artifacts
- Communicate with patients to explain the procedure, address concerns, and ensure comfort during imaging
- Ensure radiation safety and ALARA compliance; monitor dose and operate imaging equipment safely
- Document procedures and results in patient records; collaborate with radiologists and other imaging staff
- Maintain equipment, prep rooms, and supply inventory; adhere to privacy and safety policies
Requirements
- ARRT Mammography certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography
- No local candidates within 50 miles
- Ability to work 830 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (40 hours weekly)
- Willingness to work two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve)
