Cardiovascular Technologist – Cath Lab Technologist opportunity in Saint Louis, MO. Start date: July 13, 2026. Duration: several weeks. Weekly pay: $2,711–$2,937 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week for this shift. Shift: 5x8 days, Monday–Friday, 8-hour days. Work setting: acute care hospital-based Cardiac Catheterization / Interventional Cardiology unit. Travel assignment with rotational call (every 4th weekend and one weekday) and intra-service floating as needed. Pre-approved time off and RTO rules apply per contract. Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are not requested for this assignment.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the scrub tech for interventional and diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures, maintaining sterile technique throughout the case.
- Support a range of procedures, including diagnostic cardiac cath, PCI/angioplasty, coronary stent placement, pacemaker/ICD insertion, loop recorder, carotid stenting, and other vascular interventions; assist with pre/post procedure recovery.
- Maintain the sterile field, manage instruments and supplies, and assist imaging with a Siemens imaging system as required.
- Monitor and assist with hemodynamic support devices (IABP, Impella, VAD) and participate in thrombolysis or thrombectomy as directed.
- Collaborate with the interventional team to ensure patient safety and optimal workflow; document procedures in the electronic charting system (EPIC) and assist with post-procedural care as needed.

Requirements
- Licensure: IL license in hand required at time of submittal; MO licensure or MO compact as applicable; pending state license accepted per state rules; local hiring restrictions apply (75-mile radius).
- Certifications: BLS; ARRT-R; RCIS listed; verify specific requirements at submittal.
- Experience: General 2+ years; specific Cardiac Cath Lab scrub tech experience 3+ years (required); daily caseload around 12 cases per tech.
- Education: Education requirements as specified in the Job Notes; relevant education in cardiovascular technology or radiologic technology preferred.
- Skills: Cardiac catheterization and right/left heart cath, PCI/angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker/ICD programming, loop recorder, carotid stenting, and vascular procedures; sterile field maintenance; EPIC charting; ability to work in an adults/geriatrics patient population.
- Additional: Siemen’s imaging system experience preferred; call schedule and floating within service line required; ability to participate in a rotating call schedule as described.
