Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to PCU patients, including ongoing assessments and monitoring
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and other therapies per physician orders
- Monitor telemetry and patient status; respond to clinical changes and coordinate with the medical team
- Document in Epic EMR; maintain accurate and timely charts, care plans, and discharge planning
- Float to sister campuses as needed; participate in unit coverage while adhering to safety and infection control protocols
Requirements
- Active Florida RN license; Compact license required; Nursys verification on profile
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- 3+ years PCU experience; 2 previous travel assignments required
- Degree accreditation must be on profile or must have 5 years PCU experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced PCU and float to other units as needed
