Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including monitoring vital signs and documenting changes in condition
- Administer prescribed medications following established protocols and record all administered doses accurately
- Assist with activities of daily living and ongoing comfort, safety, and mobility support
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to implement and adapt care plans
- Report any acute or progressive changes promptly to the supervising clinician and document findings in medical records
Requirements
- Active LPN license suitable for practice in North Carolina
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in long-term care or corrections settings preferred
- Ability to work a 12-hour shift schedule and adapt to unit operations
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Ability to pass facility-required background checks and comply with site policies
