Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Specialty: ER. Start date: 03/26/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,092–$2,187 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Day shift. Setting: hospital ER. This position is a travel, temporary assignment with a 13-week contract and a 36-hour guaranteed workweek.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ER using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved policies, standards of care, and state practice act.
- Document care accurately in the medical record according to standards of practice.
- Develop and initiate a patient-centered plan of care in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team; provide patient and family education as indicated.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, unit practice decisions, and shared governance; support standardization of care across the department.
- Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking to ensure patient safety and positive patient experience; escalate concerns through the proper chain of command.
- Promote continuity of care by coordinating with relevant units and departments to support the patient’s longitudinal plan of care.
Requirements
- Active Wisconsin RN license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS certification
- RN education verification on file
- ER nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work Day shift with weekend rotation
- Demonstrated ability to practice in a fast-paced ER environment
