Travel Registered Nurse LTC Job
Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care (LTC) travel assignment in Solon, Iowa, within a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) setting. This is a travel - temporary assignment with Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Start date: May 1, 2026. Contract length: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,732 to $1,815 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Rotating with weekend coverage; weekend shifts are 16-hour blocks on Saturdays and Sundays (6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.). Orientation is scheduled the week prior to weekend doubles.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a LTC setting, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor responses and document outcomes.
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and contribute to developing and updating individualized care plans.
- Monitor vital signs, identify changes in residents’ conditions, and escalate concerns per protocol.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and communicate effectively with residents and families.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
Requirements
- Active registered nursing license in Iowa (or eligibility for licensure)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or as required by the setting)
- Ability to work in a LTC/geriatric care environment with rotating schedules, including weekend shifts
- Demonstrated ability to perform clinical assessments, administer medications, and document care accurately
- Willingness to complete orientation and comply with facility policies and regulatory requirements
