Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures per department protocols and radiology standards.
- Properly position patients and configure imaging parameters to optimize diagnostic quality.
- Verify patient information, ensure correct exam labeling, and maintain clear communication with the radiology team.
- Monitor patient safety and comfort during CT procedures; adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards.
- Maintain CT equipment function, perform basic quality checks, and report any malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor.
- Document procedures and imaging results in the patient record; assist radiologists with image interpretation as needed.
Requirements
- Current ARRT RT(R) credential required
- Current ARRT (CT) credential required
- Current unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology required
- Healthcare Provider BLS required
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred
