Travel Registered Nurse OR Job
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) in Atlanta, GA, starting June 1, 2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a pay range of $1,987–$2,086 per week. Shifts are 12 hours, scheduled 3 days per week, with on-call duties including weekends and holidays; no block scheduling. Work setting is a hospital operating room environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the OR from pre-op through postoperative recovery
- Prepare the OR, ensure sterile technique, and verify equipment and supplies are available
- Assist the anesthesia team during induction and maintenance, monitoring patient status
- Maintain sterile technique, perform instrument counts, assist with positioning and draping
- Support surgeons and other OR staff, facilitate efficient case turnover and patient safety
- Recognize and respond to intraoperative emergencies; document events per policy
Requirements
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Level 1 trauma experience required
- Strong clinical skills; high rating on skills checklist
- Burn experience preferred
- Availability for 12-hour day shifts with on-call, weekends, and holidays; no block scheduling
- Ability to work in a high-acuity OR environment
