Travel Registered Nurse Med Surg Job
Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical position in Utica, New York. This travel assignment begins 04/20/2026 for 13 weeks on a 2x3-day schedule, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekly pay ranges from $2,182 to $2,246. The role is on a medical/surgical unit within a hospital setting, with floating to adult Med-Surg areas as needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult Med-Surg patients, including post-surgical care
- Monitor patient status, perform assessments, and respond to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; manage IV therapy, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team; coordinate patient care; document in EPIC
- Float to other adult Med-Surg units as needed
- Ensure patient safety, manage pain, and assist with discharge planning
Requirements
- Active New York RN license (Nursys verification)
- 2+ years Med-Surg experience
- Travel experience required
- BLS certification (AHA)
- EMR experience: EPIC
- RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at submission
