Travel Radiology CT Tech Job
CT Technologist (CT Tech) – Radiology travel assignment in Rochester, NY. Start date: 04/20/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: 10-hour shifts (4x10-hour) with on-call requirements. Weekly pay: $2,694–$2,854 per week. Setting: hospital-based radiology department. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment. This position requires NYS licensure and ARRT certification, with injection therapy certification noted on the license. On-site orientation and credentialing support provided.

Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identity and verify exam details prior to initiating the scan
- Prepare patients, explain the procedure, and assist with IV access as needed
- Position patients for CT imaging and apply safe patient handling practices
- Perform CT exams using Philips and Siemens equipment; monitor for patient safety and comfort
- Administer or assist with IV contrast as required and maintain contrast precautions
- Document all exam components in EPIC and ensure images are correctly sent to PACS
- Maintain a clean, safe scanning facility and comply with department policies and infection control
Requirements
- NYS licensure as Radiologic Technologist (CT) prior to start; injection therapy certification stated on license
- Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Certification/registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Two years of radiology/CT experience; Level I Trauma Center experience preferred
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Preferred: injection certification (willing to complete during orientation); knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment
- Epic experience is highly desired
- Ability to work in a hospital radiology setting and collaborate with physicians and staff
