Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job
Licensed Practical Nurse, Long-Term Care, Hilo, Hawaii, starting 06/01/2026 for 13 weeks, $1,726–$1,866 per week, no guaranteed hours, shift: Flex. This travel assignment occurs in a hospital-based setting with a long-term care component on site.

Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments, treatments, and administer medications as ordered, with timely notification to the MD/NP of pertinent information
- Facilitate admitting and discharging processes; provide ADL assistance and basic patient support
- Provide care for Gastrostomy Tubes and urinary catheters; administer nebulized treatments as prescribed
- Manage specialized care needs such as Wound VAC, CPAP support, and Tracheostomy care
- Complete documentation and communicate findings to the care team; participate in care planning and ensure patient safety throughout shifts
- Adapt to varied duties as assigned within the long-term care scope on site within the hospital setting
Requirements
- Active LPN license in Hawaii
- Education: Practical Nursing diploma or certificate
- Experience: Relevant nursing experience in long-term care or hospital-style settings preferred
- Certifications: Proof of influenza vaccination required prior to contract start date
- Ability to work in a hospital-based long-term care environment and perform the listed duties
- Flexibility to work 8-hour shifts with weekend and holiday coverage as needed
