Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, patient-centered care for obstetric patients from labor through postpartum, and for newborns up to 28 days old.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, assist with labor and delivery, and provide neonatal care as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, nursing colleagues, and other disciplines to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients and families on maternity care, postpartum recovery, and newborn care; participate in discharge planning and patient teaching.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately; uphold infection control, safety, privacy, and unit standards of behavior.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in obstetric/L&D and neonatal/postpartum care preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity Women’s Care Unit
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; capacity to coordinate across disciplines
- Ability to meet credentialing requirements and adapt to a fast-paced care environment
