Travel Occupational Therapist Job
Occupational Therapist (OT) in a geriatric long-term care setting located in Pennsburg, Pennsylvania. The assignment starts March 16, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks. You will earn between $1,935 and $1,966 per week, with 35 guaranteed hours. Schedule is 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (08:00–16:30).

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive OT assessments for residents and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving activities of daily living, functional mobility, and independence.
- Deliver direct OT services, including therapeutic activities, therapeutic use of daily activities, and manual techniques, tailored to adults in a LTC setting.
- Reassess goals regularly, adjust treatment plans, document progress, and communicate outcomes to the interdisciplinary team and family members as appropriate.
- Collaborate with nursing, PT/SLP, social work, and case management to coordinate care, discharge planning, and safe transitions to home or higher levels of care.
- Educate residents and families on activity modification, safe use of adaptive equipment, energy conservation strategies, and home environment adaptations.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record, comply with regulatory standards, and participate in quality improvement activities as needed.
Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Pennsylvania (PA)
- Degree from an accredited OT program (Master’s or Doctorate as applicable)
- Ability to work 5x8-hour shifts, 08:00–16:30, in a geriatric LTC setting
- Experience or comfort delivering OT services to older adults; prior LTC experience preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to work within an interdisciplinary team
- Eligible for travel assignments and able to pass required screenings and clearances
