Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for high-acuity medical-surgical and respiratory care unit patients, including assessment, treatment, monitoring, and coordination of care
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, wounds, and routine procedures per unit protocols; collaborate with physicians and respiratory therapists on airway and respiratory needs
- Monitor patient status and telemetry; interpret rhythm strips and participate in ongoing dysrhythmia monitoring; completion of on-boarding dysrhythmia exam with a target score of 80%
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner experience preferred) and perform effective handoffs to oncoming staff
- Support discharge planning and patient/family education; adhere to safety, infection control, and quality metrics; unit ratios typically 1–5 patients, occasionally 1–6; may float to Concord Hospital-Laconia or Concord Hospital-Franklin as needed

Requirements
- Active NH RN license or Compact state license required at submission; NH license verification via NURSYS
- Current BLS and ACLS certification; NHISS required prior to start
- 2+ years of experience in medical-surgical and telemetry (MS/Tele)
- Ability to work on a high-acuity Med-Surg/Respiratory Care Unit; willingness to float to related units within the network
- Cerner EMR experience preferred (not required); ability to complete required onboarding assessments (dysrhythmia exam)

- Local candidates within 50 miles may be eligible for the local rate
- RTO (time off) must be requested and included at submission
- Onboarding includes a dysrhythmia examination; preferred score 80% or higher
- Hybrid/remote work is not applicable to this position
