Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to residents per the established plan of care under appropriate supervision, focusing on activities of daily living, mobility, and functional independence.
- Implement targeted therapeutic activities and interventions to improve strength, coordination, cognition, and functional performance for an older adult population.
- Document resident progress, update plans of care, and communicate effectively with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team.
- Participate in discharge planning and recommendations for safe transitions to home or community settings.
- Ensure resident safety during therapy sessions, proper use and maintenance of equipment, and adherence to infection control and facility policies.
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and rehabilitation staff to optimize resident outcomes and maintain cohesive care delivery.

Requirements
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license/certification in Michigan.
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting with adult residents.
- Availability to work Day shift on a 8x4 schedule with 32 guaranteed hours per week.
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment and to commence by the start date of 09/28/2026.
- Compliance with applicable professional standards and documentation requirements.
