Responsibilities
- Interrogate cardiac implantable electronic devices, monitor responses to therapy, and adjust settings per provider orders; manage remote monitoring and troubleshoot device-related concerns.
- Arrange and coordinate follow-up care for patients in the Device Clinic; maintain device clinic databases and accurate patient records.
- Perform diagnostic tests and treatments as ordered, including electrocardiograms (EKGs), event monitors, Holter monitors, and Zio Patch applications and data processing.
- Coordinate scheduling of surgical and procedural interventions related to cardiac devices; collaborate with radiology, surgical, anesthesia, and other teams for MRI studies or procedures.
- Maintain clean, organized examination and treatment rooms; ensure stocking of supplies and proper equipment function.
- Educate patients and families about cardiac implantable devices, arrhythmia management, and electrophysiology procedures (including ablation therapy); provide ongoing guidance and support.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance, and departmental efforts to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Requirements
- Current Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of registered nursing experience
- Experience managing cardiac implantable electronic devices (pacemakers and ICDs); familiarity with major device platforms (Biotronik, Medtronic, Abbott/St. Jude Medical, Boston Scientific)
- Knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia management and ECG interpretation
- Ability to work in a hospital/clinical setting and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
