Echo Technologist (Radiology) – Kealakekua, Hawaii, United States. Start date 04/27/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range: $2,112-$2,261 per week. Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiographic examinations (e.g., transthoracic echocardiography) and related imaging procedures according to protocol.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, position them correctly, and monitor during imaging to ensure safety and comfort.
- Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot echocardiography equipment; maintain image quality and perform routine quality control.
- Document findings clearly in the patient record and communicate results to the supervising physician and radiology/cardiology team.
- Collaborate with the imaging and clinical staff to ensure timely completion of studies; adhere to infection control and safety standards.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently in a variable schedule with rotating shifts.
Requirements
- Certification: Certified Echo Tech; RVT preferred
- Experience: Echo imaging experience; ability to work independently in a clinical setting
- Scheduling: Flexibility to work a rotating, variable schedule
- Environment: Ability to function effectively within a hospital imaging environment
