Registered Nurse – PCU/IMCU (Cardiac) in Atlanta, GA, US. Start date 09/21/2026 for a 16-week travel assignment. Weekly pay $1,741–$1,864, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: Night, 12-hour shifts, 2x3 Nights. The unit is a 28-bed PCU/IMCU with a cardiac population, featuring a 1:3–4 patient-to-nurse ratio. Care includes STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain/cardiac conditions, with cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors. Some telemetry beds may be assigned to the same unit with lower acuity. BLS and ACLS are required. Please ensure all demographic information is complete for onboarding.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to adult cardiac patients in a PCU/IMCU, including monitoring and responding to telemetry and clinical changes.
- Administer and titrate prescribed cardiac medications and drips (e.g., Milrinone, Dobutamine, vasopressors) per orders and protocol.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans; anticipate potential complications and intervene promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the multidisciplinary team; document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record; provide accurate handoffs during shift changes.
- Monitor for STEMI/NSTEMI pathways, manage cardiac telemetry, and ensure patient safety, infection control, and comfort.
- Educate patients and families as appropriate and coordinate with ancillary services to support discharge planning.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of PCU experience in a facility of similar size.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Ability to work night shifts and 12-hour shifts as scheduled.
- Active RN license (appropriate to practice in the assignment location) or eligibility as applicable.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a high-acuity cardiac PCU/IMCU setting and manage telemetry patients.
