Responsibilities
- Provide direct intraoperative nursing care, including patient positioning, maintaining sterile technique, instrument and supply handling, and surgical counts.
- Assist the surgical team (surgeons, anesthesiologists, circulator staff) to ensure patient safety, efficient workflow, and adherence to aseptic protocols.
- Monitor patient status throughout all phases of anesthesia and surgery; respond to and manage intraoperative changes and emergencies as needed.
- Maintain a safe and organized operating room, prepare instruments and equipment, and assist with room turnover between cases.
- Document perioperative care accurately and ensure proper handoffs to post-anesthesia and recovery staff.
- Participate in trauma and burn-related case mix as available; support Level 1 trauma workflows and related protocols.

Requirements
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Level 1 trauma experience
- Strong OR skills with emphasis on sterile technique, patient safety, and teamwork
- Burn experience preferred
- Ability to work in a high-demand surgical environment with on-call coverage for weekends and holidays
- Education: graduate of an accredited nursing program (RN)
