Responsibilities
- Perform a broad range of nuclear medicine procedures, including stress exams, hepatobiliary, V/Q, thyroid/parathyroid, GI/gastric emptying, bone scans, sentinel node mapping, and non-therapeutic I-131 studies
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals, monitor patient safety, and manage multiple procedures across three rooms
- Operate gamma cameras and related imaging equipment; ensure high-quality images and proper patient positioning
- Prepare, process, and review images; document findings in EPIC and maintain accurate patient records
- Provide IV start and maintenance when required; assist with cardiac stress testing (pharmacologic and exercise) as applicable
- Collaborate with the radiology team to maintain workflow, safety, and compliance with radiation safety guidelines
- Float within the service line and hospital scope as needed to support patient care

Requirements
- Licensure: Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist (RT(N)) or CNMT; ARRT (R) certification; BLS; NMTCB as applicable
- Experience: Minimum 2 years nuclear medicine experience; community hospital experience preferred
- Start/fit: First-time travelers accepted; ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
- Education: Not specified in posting
- Compliance and logistics: SSN and DOB required at time of submittal; pending state license accepted per posting notes with follow-up required for licensure rules; pre-start modules and labs required
- Scheduling: Locals within 75 miles are not eligible; ability to work in an acute care hospital environment; no on-call requirement listed
- Additional: Valid state license generally required at submission (Missouri may allow submission without license in hand; Illinois license must be in hand)
