Travel Radiology X-Ray Tech Job
X-Ray Tech, Radiology travel assignment in Robbinsdale, MN. Start on 06/08/2026 for 13 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiologic exams across age groups (infants through geriatrics) as ordered by Providers, ensuring high-quality images.
- Position patients, select appropriate exposure techniques, and ensure radiation safety and patient shielding; verify image quality for interpretation.
- Operate radiographic equipment, including OR/C-Arm procedures; participate in trauma and emergency imaging as needed.
- May perform other radiologic procedures within licensure, such as EKGs and Dexa bone scans, when within scope.
- Document results in the electronic health record; collaborate with radiologists and other team members to ensure accurate reporting.
- Adhere to department protocols, dosimetry safety practices, and institutional policies; respond to urgent imaging needs and maintain patient comfort and safety during exams.
Requirements
- ARRT certification (Required)
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC) (Required)
- Minimum 2 years radiology/X-ray tech experience; prior travel experience (Required)
- Strong OR/surgical skills with C-Arm and Trauma Level I experience (Required)
- Availability to work nights and weekends as assigned (Required)
- EPIC experience and O-Arm experience are preferred (Desirable)
