Responsibilities
- Perform CT and radiographic imaging procedures following established orders and protocols.
- Prepare, position, and assist patients for imaging; operate CT and radiography equipment safely and accurately.
- Verify patient identity, document procedures, and enter results and charges in EPIC or the designated EMR.
- Adhere to radiation safety principles (ALARA), perform basic equipment checks, and participate in routine quality control tasks.
- Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams; adapt to varying protocols across facilities as needed.
- Provide patient care and communication to ensure comfort, safety, and privacy throughout imaging encounters.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts license to practice radiologic technology (MA).
- ARRT certification (verification required).
- BLS/CPR certification (AHA) current.
- Minimum 2 years of radiography experience, with CT imaging experience preferred.
- EPIC experience required.
- Ability to work 3x12 night shifts; willingness to adapt to multiple facility environments.
- This travel assignment requires non-local candidates; local candidates will not be considered.
