Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) travel assignment in Truth Or Consequences, New Mexico. Start date: 03/12/2026 for a 14-week assignment in a long-term care setting. Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments within the LPN scope under supervision
- Monitor residents’ conditions, perform routine assessments, and document vital signs
- Provide basic nursing care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Communicate changes in patient status to the supervising RN and care team
- Complete and maintain accurate charting in the electronic medical record
- Support safety, infection control practices, and wound care as directed
- Collaborate with the licensed nursing team to update care plans and ensure quality resident care
Requirements
- Active LPN license to practice in New Mexico
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (6 pm–6 am)
- Willingness to participate in onboarding steps: orientation and fingerprinting requirements (fingerprints by the Tuesday prior to start; check-in at the facility on the Wednesday before start)
- Availability for a 14-week travel assignment and adherence to the 36/48 alternating weekly schedule
- Ability to work in a long-term care setting and follow facility policies
