Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under the supervision of an experienced RN
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor vitals, and document care accurately
- Assess residents, identify changes in condition, and communicate findings to the supervising nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living and ensure resident comfort, safety, and dignity
- Maintain accurate charting and medication administration records; monitor for safety and quality of care
- Adhere to infection prevention, safety protocols, and resident rights during all shifts
Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing; state of New Mexico license preferred
- Experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing environment is preferred
- Ability to work on-site during a 12-hour shift schedule (07:00–19:30)
- Local candidate or within commuting distance due to LOCAL ONLY designation
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and documentation skills
- Ability to pass standard pre-employment screenings as applicable
