Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor therapeutic interventions under supervision to support mobility, strength, and functional outcomes for LTAC residents
- Assist with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, ROM, and activities of daily living
- Document treatment sessions, track patient progress, and communicate changes to supervising therapists
- Ensure safe patient handling, infection control, and proper use and maintenance of treatment equipment
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical teams to update care plans and optimize outcomes
- Adhere to facility policies, regulatory standards, and patient safety protocols
Requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a LTAC skilled nursing setting
- Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills
- Reliable, with the ability to meet guaranteed hours and schedule expectations
- Willingness to comply with applicable licensure requirements and facility policies
- Eligible to work in the United States; appropriate state licensure/registration responsibilities as required
