Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality cross-sectional images for radiologists.
- Prepare and position patients; select appropriate imaging parameters and adjust techniques for patient size.
- Operate CT equipment safely, monitor patient comfort, and maintain ALARA principles.
- Review images for technical adequacy and communicate findings per protocol.
- Maintain equipment, conduct basic quality control, and document procedures and patient demographics.
- Adhere to safety procedures, assist with contrast administration if trained, and respond to department needs during the shift.
Requirements
- ARRT certification required
- CT certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a facility of similar size
- Ability to work Fri/Sat/Sun night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) in a hospital setting
- Demonstrated ability to perform CT procedures in a fast-paced environment
