Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines, using critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.
- Administer medications, initiate treatments as ordered, monitor patient status, and promptly respond to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Document care thoroughly in patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Current active RN license (state unspecified in the notes; eligibility or licensure as an RN is expected).
- Oncology experience or a clinical background in oncology patient populations is preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts; 36 hours per week; ability to function in an inpatient care setting.
