Responsibilities
- Perform transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) studies and related echocardiography procedures as assigned.
- Prepare patients, position them appropriately, apply gel, operate ultrasound equipment, and acquire high-quality images.
- Obtain standard views, perform Doppler measurements, and assist with preliminary interpretation under supervision.
- Document findings clearly, maintain accurate patient records and imaging data, and ensure proper labeling and storage of images.
- Ensure safety and infection control in the imaging suite; maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and the care team to support accurate diagnosis and efficient workflow.
Requirements
- 1 year of echocardiography experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); currently certified or eligible to be certified
- CCI or ADRMS certification required
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Echocardiography (ECG) certification: Preferred
- Ability to work Day Shift 0700–1730 in Marysville, CA
