Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging for various indications per physician orders, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols
- Operate GE CT scanners (including older platforms and Revolution models) and manage studies in the EPIC system
- Position patients appropriately, select acquisition protocols, monitor contrast administration, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images with dose optimization
- Verify patient identity and exam orders, provide exam preparation and post-procedure instructions, and collaborate with the radiology team to maintain workflow
- Support care for high-acuity patients, including Level 1 trauma, stroke, and burn cases, and assist with rapid imaging in emergent situations
- Perform image quality checks, basic troubleshooting, and communication of results per department standards
Requirements
- ARRT certification in CT (CT) required (active)
- Ability to work a night schedule with 12-hour shifts (Fri–Sun nights; 7:00 pm–7:30 am)
- CT imaging experience in a busy hospital or trauma setting preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC or similar RIS/PACS workflows preferred
- Ability to work in a high-volume, high-acuity environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
