Physical Therapy Assistant – LTAC in Waldorf, MD. Start date 07/27/2026 for 4 weeks. Weekly pay $1,516–$1,590. Guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift 08:00–16:30. Travel assignment in a long-term care (LTC) nursing home setting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist in a LTAC/long-term care setting.
- Implement prescribed treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and functional mobility activities.
- Monitor patient responses, document progress, and adjust activities within the plan of care as directed.
- Assist with positioning, ROM exercises, mobility training, and activities of daily living as appropriate.
- Maintain patient and staff safety, follow standard infection control protocols, and adhere to charting and documentation requirements.
- Communicate clearly with the PT and care team to report changes in patient status and coordinate care.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Maryland (or current eligibility for Maryland licensure) as required by state regulations.
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Experience in long-term care, LTAC, or skilled nursing environments preferred.
- Ability to work the assigned shift (08:00–16:30) and participate in a 4-week travel assignment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
- Eligibility for credentialing and onboarding per Healthforce Healthcare LLC processes.
