Travel Registered Nurse ICU Job
Registered Nurse – ICU travel assignment in a surgical services setting in Tuba City, AZ. Start date 08/10/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed 36 hours per week with a pay range of $2,179 to $2,307 per week. Shift: Any. The assignment involves ICU care within a 5-bed unit and may float to ED, Med/Surg, or Peds if census is low. Housing is provided as shared contractor housing (no pets or family allowed).

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU, monitoring and responding to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, implement physician orders, and document assessments and interventions accurately
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and execute patient care plans
- Monitor hemodynamic status, labs, and imaging results; adjust care as indicated by protocols and orders
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards; advocate for patient and family needs
- Float to ED, Med/Surg, or Peds as needed to support unit coverage; assist with post-operative recovery during after-hours as required
Requirements
- Current valid RN license (unrestricted) to practice in any U.S. state, The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 3 years of prior ICU experience
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire; Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within 6 months of hire; NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within 6 months of hire
- Ability to work in an ICU environment and float to ED, Med/Surg, or Peds as needed
- Commitment to following hospital policies, standards of care, and patient care procedures
